Something you are curious about? Something your child asks? Whatever the subject, Begin.
No excuses.
It doesn’t have to be a serious subject or part of any curriculum.
Not sure? Don’t have it all planned out? Never done it before?
Doesn’t matter.
Begin.
Blaze a new trail.
Once you start you will get a much better idea of how to proceed.
You can start learning on your own.
You might decide you want to find a teacher, mentor or guide. No problem.
Learning beyond school doesn’t mean you have to learn alone, with no help.
You, everyone, is a natural born learner.
Some things might require more conscious and consistent effort, but learning is part of what we humans do. Young, old, and in between.
So pick a topic, any topic and exercise those learning muscles.
Begin!

Thank you, I love that quote. I have to remind myself, too. I’m not one for tatoos – maybe a bracelet with the saying? For me, anyway, since lately I have been having out of sight, out of mind issues.
This has always been a favorite quote of mine by Goethe. Something I must keep reminding myself about: “Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it. Begin it now.”
